GrainGlass: Sand Sort Puzzle

Los Feliz Media (“we,” “us,” “our”) developed GrainGlass: Sand Sort Puzzle (the “App”). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. It applies to the App only, not to any website or service we may link to.
The short version: GrainGlass doesn’t require an account, doesn’t ask for your name, email, or any personal information to play, and stores your game progress on your device. The only data collection comes from the advertising SDKs that show ads to keep the App free, an analytics SDK that tells us in aggregate how the App is used, and Apple’s own purchase system if you buy something. All three are covered in detail below, along with your rights under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
None. GrainGlass has no sign-up, no login, and no in-app forms. You can play the entire game without giving us any personal information.
Your level progress, stars, move counts, unlocked themes, and settings (sound, haptics, Reduce Motion) are saved locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This information is not transmitted to us and is not accessible to us. If you delete the App, this data is deleted with it.

GrainGlass uses Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the App is used — which levels players get stuck on, how many sessions per day, Day-1/Day-7 retention, and similar usage patterns. Firebase Analytics collects:
We use this data to fix broken levels, balance difficulty, and decide what to build next. We do not use Firebase Analytics data to build advertising profiles ourselves; any overlap with advertising use is governed by the ad SDKs described separately above.
If you buy Remove Ads, a theme pack, or the Starter Bundle, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We receive confirmation that a product was purchased so the App can unlock the content, but we never see your payment details — Apple handles billing and never shares your card information with us.
GrainGlass uses the following third-party SDKs. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and each is Apple-reviewed and privacy-manifest-declared for App Store distribution:

We do not sell your information. Any sharing that occurs is limited to the ad networks above serving and measuring the ads they show you, and is governed by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework — nothing is shared for tracking purposes unless you’ve explicitly granted permission.
The first time it matters — after you finish your first level, not before — GrainGlass asks for permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites, as required by Apple. You can:
GrainGlass is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we’ll address it.
Gameplay data lives only on your device and is deleted when you delete the App. Analytics data collected by Firebase is retained for up to 14 months from collection and then automatically deleted, per Firebase’s default retention setting. Data held by the ad networks and Apple is subject to their own retention policies, linked above. To request deletion of any data those third parties hold about you, contact them directly, use the controls in iOS Settings, or submit a request under “Your Privacy Rights” below and we’ll coordinate deletion where we’re able to.
If you’re located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (and the UK GDPR) gives you the following rights over the limited data described in this policy (chiefly the Firebase app-instance identifier, usage analytics, and advertising identifiers where tracking is authorized):
Legal basis for processing: consent (for tracking-based advertising, obtained via the App Tracking Transparency prompt) and legitimate interests (for non-tracking analytics that let us maintain and improve the App, and for processing purchases).
International transfers: our third-party processors (Google/Firebase, Meta, AppLovin, Apple) may process data outside the EEA/UK. Each maintains its own transfer safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) — see their respective privacy policies linked above for specifics.

If you’re a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the following rights:
To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct, email us at the address below with “CCPA Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your device/identifier to process device-linked requests, since GrainGlass has no account system to verify identity against.
If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store listing’s “What’s New” notes for the version in which they take effect.
